Be an ATV Ambassador

An ATV Ambassador is actively involved in raising awareness of ATV and shares our mission to provide shelter, advocacy, education and resources to people impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in our community. Being an ATV Ambassador shows your support by promoting services that can help victims heal both emotionally and physically in a supportive, confidential and non-judgmental environment.

We each have power within our voices and tools at our fingertips to help those who are most vulnerable in our community. Here are several ways you can be an ATV Ambassador right now.

  • Donate a Talent: Are you crafty? Consider selling handmade goods and donate a portion of sales to ATV. Are you a musician? How about hosting a live streaming concert for donations to ATV? Apply your talent to help ATV and victims of violence.
  • Share/Like/Comment: Interact with ATV on Facebook. Share, like and comment on posts to help grow our community of supporters and increase awareness of ATV's free services.
  • Share an ATV Experience: If you have had an experience with ATV, share your story or a testimonial with us. A person who is hesitant about reaching out may be encouraged by another person's success story. (Names are always kept anonymous.)
  • Write an Opinion Piece: Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper or magazine in defense of those most vulnerable in our community. Please consider including ATV’s Crisis Hotline number (970) 880-1000 as a resource for those who need it.
  • Be a Line of Communication: Do you have a website, e-newsletter, social media platform where you can share ATV’s Crisis Hotline and information? Perhaps you are the owner of a take-out business and can distribute ATV’s information with every pickup or order? Or hang a poster in your place of business?
  • Start a Fundraiser: In lieu of gifts ask friends and family to donate to a birthday fundraiser for ATV to help victims of violence. Or align your business with a good cause by holding a fundraiser for ATV.
  • E-mail Signature: Add ATV's donation link to your email signature, coloradogives.org/alternativestoviolence
  • AmazonSmile: Register for AmazonSmile and choose Alternatives to Violence as your charity of choice. Amazon will donate 0.5% of your AmazonSmile purchases to ATV. You can also shop for items from ATV' Charity List on Amazone Smile or right from ATV's Wish List that can be delivered to our office at 541 East 8th Street, Loveland, CO  80537
  • Donate on Colorado Gives Day, Giving Tuesday or Any Day of the Year: No matter how small, every donation is appreciated and is immediately used to help victims of violence right here in our community. Donations at any time of the year can be made at coloradogives.org/alternativestoviolence/overview
  • Update Your Social Media: Temporarily change your Facebook cover, Twitter handle, etc to show your support for ATV and victims of violence. Consider adding ATV's donation link to your email signature. Social media graphics can be found at the bottom of this page. This is a great way to promote ATV to your personal network.
