Alternatives to Violence provides housing services for victims who are fleeing domestic violence. We provide housing consultations that cover Weld/Larimer county resources including, but not limited to, safe shelters, transitional programs, rental assistance programs, low-income housing, and potential placement on the Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement System (CAHPS) list for the Northern Colorado Continuum of Care. We will provide additional referrals if survivors want to live elsewhere. Our Housing Program also includes placement in a limited number of safe, affordable housing units through Rapid Re-Housing (RRH). This is only accessible through the CAHPS waitlist. For placements in RRH, ongoing case management will be provided to help survivors maintain safe and stable housing while developing financial literacy skills, long-term self-sufficiency, and pursuing individualized goals.
