Alternatives to Violence has partnered with the Artworks Center for Contemporary Art to bring a new and exclusive art exhibition to the community and help support survivors in our area – Domestic Violence: An Artist’s Perspective.

We have invited artists to submit works of art that convey their interpretation or message about domestic violence to create a compelling art exhibition. Art is not only used to provoke emotion, but it’s also an ideal way to prompt discussion about topics that are difficult to talk about and bring them to the forefront. We'll also be featuring personal stories from survivors. We hope this exhibition compels visitors to start a conversation with family and loved ones, while also enjoying the wonderful work of local artists. Select pieces will be available for purchase with a percentage of the purchase price donated to ATV to support domestic violence survivors in our area.
